Solidary Authors & Artists was legally established in Madrid (Spain) in 2006. One of the fundamental idea is to create
a group of authors, artists, people from cultural and education fields, professionals or not, in order to
join forces in a virtual space first and out there later.
it is simple, that is just what corporations do, concentration of power and resources.
Who can join and participate?
Authors, artists, people from cultural and education fields, professionals or not, from all over the world. Thanks to Internet, now it is possible to create a positive network of people working in a common project with people from other countries, working together and especially if it can be interesting and positive for your personal purposes too.
What can we do?
Promoting Activities and creating products. Managing events, art magazine and shop online, sponsorships.
In that way, wecan help other non profit organizations in many ways, not only with money
Today, it is better to be part of a real group than just having a profile in a social site or a "lost in the space"
website, i.e. MySpace: bigger and bigger = overloaded, and the same with other social communities, especially if
there is no a contrete field, just a big amout of people talking nonsense at the same time.
In Solidaryart, the general people will find only art related stuff, not a teenager talking about the cat or the
first love. Art, culture, education and solidarity content only.
Why?
Because art is a powerful and universal way to communicate things and values Solidarity because the world now knows that what is good only for just a few can be very..for the rest. Authors and artists have access to many people so they (we) can be a "voice" that can be really heard.
Where?
First with a virtual presence. Today having news online, photo and video galleries, blogs, etc., is simple!
When?
NOW! Just by sending an email with your basic info or where to find it. Later you will receive a list of things you could do to be part of the team. Just that simple!
How?
Many times, just a little group of people is enough to make big things, so quality is better than quantity. By having a blog, writing articles, etc., in this site, it will be growing soon.
The founder
To be sincere, I'm just giving a platform on which something good can be created. I really don't care about the success of SolidaryArt in a short period because I know this is a great project, it just will take its own time to grow up so I hope you join us.
Thanks for you visit and good luck!
